Personal Care Services
We deliver waiver care to eligible Cass County seniors and work closely with the caseworker on each plan.
Medicaid Home Care Services
Roughly one Cass County adult in nine served, and Cass County families get care plus straight benefit answers.
Veterans Home Care Services
Live-in and shift coverage keeps older residents near the Missouri riverfront in the homes they know.
24-Hour Home Care Services
Good company plus the drives north on Highway 75 that medical appointments demand, door to door.
Companion Care Services
We plan breaks for caregiving families, from a market Saturday downtown to a full weekend away.
Respite Care ServicesNearly one resident in five here is over 65, and the houses those residents love, the Victorian two-stories near Main Street and the midcentury places on the hills, take more out of aging knees every year. With no hospital in town, appointments mean a drive north, so caregivers here do double duty: hands-on help inside the house, and dependable rides to everything beyond it.

The senior center on 18th Street serves this community well on weekdays, so our caregivers cover the mornings, evenings, and weekends around it, plus every icy stretch in between. Weekend cover is the piece families struggle to find, and it is the piece that decides whether someone stays home. Half the housing here predates 1970, which shapes most of the care plans we write.

The full range of non-medical support comes to the river town every week, visits short or around-the-clock. That takes in personal care, Medicaid home care, veterans home care, 24-hour home care, companion care, respite care, post-hospital care, dementia care, disability home care, and housing support.
Carefully and creatively. The railroad-era two-stories are beautiful and vertical, with bedrooms upstairs and laundry below, so hands-on personal care plans often shift daily life toward the main floor while a caregiver covers the stairs. Small changes plus steady help keep these houses livable for years longer than families expect.
A caregiver drives, waits, and brings your family member home. Medical care for this community means trips north to the metro hospitals, and those drives wear people out before the appointment even starts. Rides are core to companion care here, and post-hospital care covers the recovery weeks after a stay away.
We work around and alongside them. The city’s senior center runs weekday programs and meals that many of our clients attend, and our visits schedule around those anchors rather than replacing them. Where a client is on the Medicaid waiver, waiver-covered care coordination keeps the county’s service coordinators in the loop.
Many can. Cass County has a sizeable veteran population, and wartime veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for pension benefits that help pay for care at home. Our care for veteran families page explains the landscape, and county service officers handle applications free of charge.
One call starts it. The assessment is a conversation, not a sales visit: what the mornings look like, what the evenings look like, and which of it you would rather hand over. Then it goes in writing. Request a free assessment to take the first step.
