Self-Directed Support
You set the priorities and the pace; caregivers follow your lead in your own home.
Support built around your schedule, your home, and your say, across the Omaha metro.

You set the priorities and the pace; caregivers follow your lead in your own home.

Practical help with daily tasks, errands, and the household so energy goes where you want it.

Early, late, and split visits that fit employment and classes instead of competing with them.
Good support fits into the life you already have, instead of becoming the schedule everything else has to work around.

No. Around one in ten working-age adults in the Omaha metro lives with a disability, and Nebraska’s Aged and Disabled Waiver covers adults of any age who qualify, not just people over 65. Our clients include younger adults with physical disabilities who want reliable support and have zero interest in being treated like patients.
Yes, and that is the point. Independence means being in control of your life, not doing everything alone, so you direct how, when, and by whom your support is delivered. We match caregivers with your input, follow your preferences in your own home, and change course when you say something is not working.
Yes. Visits are scheduled around work, classes, and the rest of an actual life, including early mornings before a shift and evenings after one. Support is there so plans happen, not so plans shrink. Tell us the schedule that makes your week work and we will staff to it. Request a free assessment and bring the calendar.
Nebraska’s waiver system gives every enrolled participant a service coordinator and a choice between agency care and hiring independently. As an agency provider we handle the hiring, screening, and backup coverage, and we work with your coordinator directly. The details live on our Medicaid home care page, and housing support is there for clients whose living situation needs to change too.
Our caregivers work every day with clients who use wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility equipment, helping with safe movement around the home and out the door. Anything requiring clinical judgment stays with your medical providers, and for around-the-clock needs, 24-hour home care puts consistent support in the home full time.
Our disability home care covers the metro and surrounding communities. That includes Bellevue, Bennington, Blair, Elkhorn, Fremont, Gretna, La Vista, Millard, Omaha, Papillion, Plattsmouth, Ralston, and Springfield. We also provide personal care, veterans home care, companion care, respite care, post-hospital care, and dementia care.
We provide disability home care to adults across Omaha and the surrounding metro communities.
Tell us how support should fit into your week and we will staff it that way.
